the spiderman redesign, and they are so cool.
Concept:
A darker take on Spiderman. The basic idea of this Spiderman redesign is to make him a deadly, menacing, looking urban ninja. I gave him 2 additional eyes-like design on top of his original enomous eyes and make all 4 of them glossy black/red instead of the original white to make him look more insect-like, scary and unfantomable.
I made the Spider symbol on his chest upside down rather than rightside up like a spider hanging down from the top. The portion where the web is conceals the costume's zipper.
In the near future, Peter manages to create a wrist device which enable him to contain and control the Symbiote. At a click of a button on the face of the wrist device, he can release the trapped Symbiote and engulf himself with it partially or entirely(Using his will power). Peter's control over the Symbiote enable him to conjure weapons out of the Symbiote.
As a safety precaution to prevent the Symbiote from taking control over him, Peter incorporated a timer into the device. This device produces a hi-frequency sound a couple of hours after the release of the Symbiote to make the Symbiote relinquish control over him and return back to the device.
Sidenote: Initially came out with a scarier redesign of Spiderman. However I find it deviating too far away from the original Spiderman image. I fear it might not be so well accepted. Therefore I went with a friendlier, more familiar look. After completion of this new redesign, I started to ponder if I had been "playing too safe" this time round.
